Carers Link Lancashire have launched Carers Voice - a session that will be held every quarter across the boroughs of East Lancashire designed for us to hear your feedback and get your input, as our registered carers, on our services and upcoming plans.

We take on board your feedback, and we act on it!
Below are recent examples of some suggestions we have received, and
action we have taken:
January 2024: "I would love some outdoor activities, maybe
just walking"
April 2024: Soup and a stroll activity in Haslingden and
e-biking in Clitheroe!
May 2024: "Events I see listed are all at times of day when I'm not able to participate in them [due to being a working carer]"
July 2024: We created a 'working carers' tab on our website with services and events that take place outside 9am - 5pm, and with information for working carers rights!
"I would love to go on trips and activities of a weekend"
November 2024: Saturday day trip to Lancaster Castle
February 2025: Saturday evening theatre trip to see 'An Audience with Bradley Wiggins' at The Grand in Clitheroe
"Would be great to see more for Parent Carers"
January 2025: We hosted a Parent Carer Mental Health Day, with an information drop in session in the morning with guest speakers from Red Rose Recovery and NHS Mental Health Support Team alongside our Carers Link Lancashire ASD Support Officer. Attendees were given free breakfast. In the afternoon, we offered free hand massages and reflexology sessions with School of Healing.
